Left the army 1977 and had a good 18 yrs police service. Now an i.f.a. Edinburgh good site and v well done. Would love to hear from any other old timers out there.

The site gets better day by day a lot of old good memories have been woken up when names are mentioned but it is sad to hear that a few are no longer on parade.i remember the cross country taxi and john loveday was my troop sgt.at 11 armd.bde in minden.looking forward to more memories

This site brings back memories that are mostly good except for freezing my b---- off on dartmoor doing the dreaded marches. Denbury was a good start to adult life it s a great pity that it is no longer open for young lads of to day.

Great site. Brings back a lot of memories mostly good some not so good. I purchased my discharge in april 1966 to immigrate with my family to vancouver b.c. Canada. Went back to school for a year and then joined the royal canadian mounted police served for just over 30 years and retired to pension in 1999. In november of 1999 was elected to civic government and having a great time. Up for re election in nov of this year

Hi tony my last message was 24 mar 02 the update is i have now found nine members of white spear troop 1966 and many other ex denbury boys from 1965 and nig wing who joined sept 1964.
