Hi All and update from Heather on John Loveday Thanks for that Phil got a phone call from the hospital on sat when he was at dialysis and his line in his neck is loose they can t do anything about it as his arteries are so bad if it comes out they will keep him in and make him comfortable and he will only last about a week. But he went for dialysis on Tuesday and was ok and so far today ok but its not going to last as even if he scratches his neck it could come out so its like walking on egg shells. He loved his card and is showing it to everyone the girls who look after him are now saluting him and he is loving it x thanks again will keep you informed

John Loveday the epitome of the Drill Instructor and Military Trainer. An example to many and an inspiration to hundreds of young men. Get well soon John.
I would like to thank on behalf of John and I for the kindness in sending happy memories for me to read to John He is in a Nursing Home nearby after his stroke and the awful thing is he cant speak but when I read out the messages from you all you can see a tear in his eye as those where the happiest days of his army life and told me so many times. I cant thank you enough for your kindness. Heather

Hi I have just received this from the RSA if anyone can helpI have been contacted by a researcher from the BBC 1 show The One Show. He asked me to put the following message on the webpage ?¢â?¬â?? I had done so and am forwarding this to you in case you know of someone who would be in a postion to help. As I will not be in the office now until Mon 10 Jun please contact Jake as below rather than going through me. The BBC?¢â?¬â?¢s One Show are looking for a relative of a soldier that will have gone through Fovant Camp to fight in the Great War. Shooting for this film is likely to happen soon and we would love to discover the stories people have concerning their ancestors heroic contribution to the War.
