Chalky,
Thanks for your latest message which makes it easier for me to understand your annoyance, albeit it's news to me. You're right, I didn't join in on the commotion with TG because there was enough traffic at the time without my involvement. I was a bit confused with JT's comment because Historic Steve rejoined the original group in 2016. I remember it well because he started a topic about Brexit, him supporting Remain. And in 2017 he and myself put up £1000 to purchase another 50 Denbury ties in readiness for the 50th anniversary parade of the JLR closure. He progressed everything perfectly and had buyers lined up and was able to return my contribution within six weeks. So, I've been at a loss to understand what has been going on given his past performance and interest in our heritage. I still think it not right for ones dirty laundry to be aired on a site that is open to the general public. However, given your losses Chalky which I'm sorry to learn about I now understand your grievance.

Good luck with the Barnsleyfest and long may they continue. Had it not been for my holiday to Ireland clashing, I would have attended.

Hi all
I have been advertising, on the Denbury Boys Facebook page, for anyone who may be interested in buying a Denbury Regimental tie. I have obtained the following prices silk tie £23.40, bow tie £19.40. These prices were quoted for as a group of we could purchase 36 as that is the minimum amount of material that the supplier can purchase at any one time
If there is anyone who may be interested please let me know on this medium
Regards Pete

I'm thinking of driving across to France to see the Pegasus Bridge and the D-Day beaches; Utah, Omaha, Gold, Juno & Sword plus other sites around Caan. Then east toward the Somme. About a fortnight starting circa 30 April. If another would like to accompany me that would be great. You would just need to pay for your accommodation.

Several people have not yet placed their food orders on Denbury Days. Time is getting close and I need information of how many pies will be required for the Friday Night. Please access the link on the site. Thanks. Also please ensure that you book your room with the hotel.
