MICK SMITH ! There are a few of us about, I am in contact with Steve Hoare and Chris Endean. I was in contact with Paddy Winters but he's dissapeared. Think Steve is in contact 'Louie' Lewis and Jim Chambers. Are you on Facebook ? Cheers, Keith.

NOT The Last Parade
Following the parade in Blandford Camp during June 2017 in which Ex Denbury took part I have now loaded some photo’s and a video(taken by my wife with shaky hand !!) of the event onto the Denbury Days facebook page.As Dave Clapson and Tony Gask has pointed out in the past it’s great to have names of those in photo’s which are posted on our different sites. So to this end shown below is the full list of those featured in the main group photo.Read as only one line of men from left to right. We certainly all look very smart and a credit at our ages as Denbury Boys.In the video Terry Campbell is missing as he got lost in the rush to form up and paraded with the other RSA members behind our group.Again thank you all for attending and now looking forward to Newton Abbot this coming September.

John Barnes you had me laughing there and keep doing so, it's a great tonic. I hope you're right about attending my funeral cos it's my aim to reach a hundred which will make you 110. Cheers CJ

I knew Ken Harlick in K troop, I went down to meet him , the one and only time I went to flogget, he lost his son the day before, so we did not meet, I met CJ instead, think about that what you will, but we have been friends ever since, for our sins. I believe Ken had prostate cancer and went to retirement with the Chelsea Pensioners. Good luck Ken, it comes to us all sooner or later,I have promised CJ that I will go to his funeral, and I will try my hardest to keep my promise!

Hi Tweet, You were correct the first time. It is John Prescott. He 'left' Denbury and moved to Birmingham where he was seen, and, forwarded his boxing career. Cheers Jock Kelly.

Tweet Nightingale: Reading your spiel about Wallace has had me laughing so much, I can't remember doing such on this site for some long time. Trevor, the guy you refer to calling you a thug isn't the same chap I know but there we are. It was me I think, that should have rendezvoused with you at Postbridge, Dartmoor a couple of years ago, but I had to return for a hospital appointment. Did you receive the Denbury shirt I left for you with the landlord? I know it was an old one, but better than nothing. I didn't catch your first name, but my advice would be, cool down, stay calm and carry on. At our advanced ages (and medical problems) we shouldn't be hitting anyone which inadvertently could result in more damage and/or prosecution for assault.
Anyway Suffolk isn't the Yukon, you could get to the reunions by train if you wanted to. Cheers, CJ.
