G'day Tony, now keep out of those Girly Bars in Penang, especially if any of the same girls are still there!

we are all getting older now but I still say to whoever it was who made the derogatory comments - grow up or ship out.
My thanks to Jim/phil and everyone else who was involved in this years re-union and in previous ones.

For Brian Dulston, Hi Dully, I've just read your post of 12th Sept. Great to see you are still around. As we recall times gone by, I still see a blackboard rubber whistling passed you earhole and the RAEC Sgt Screaming "Volts don't F...ing flow". All the best. Dave.

I too find it absolutely appalling that Chalky's reputation has been slighted after he has been so generous picking up the shortfalls so many times, and having organised events that otherwise wouldn't have happened. For instance; In 2005 one of the lads hired a minibus for the reunion weekend. Harry Harris drove it all day and I collected the £2 fare per ride. Several idiots scarpered without paying and some others argued why they should pay and sadly we didn't collect enough to cover the costs. It was Chalkie who covered the deficit. CJ

Message for Jim White. I have just read your post and I am appalled that someone can accuse you of using Denbury Boys Reunions for your own personal gain. Anyone who has organised a reunion knows that it takes commitment, dedication and personal cost to enable you to do a good job. I now have first hand knowledge of this as I traveled to Newton Abbot twice to organise the 2017 reunion paying hotel bills transport etc to liaise with the team and the racecourse to ensure all went smooth. If you had been in it for money you would have given me a huge bill to do the professional name badges for us. I’m still getting compliments about them. Also for engraving the 90 Royal Signals Key Rings each member received as a reminder of the reason we were there. As I understand it this was one of the reasons that you so abruptly handed this reunion and Barnsley to me. A sad day. All I can say who ever made this accusation should either back it up or shut up. I know I can speak for all the Denbury Boys who attended Newton Abbot 2017 and Barnsley reunions and say A BIG THANK YOU JIM WHITE for all you have done for Denbury boys in the past. All I can hope for is that I can follow in your footsteps and do as good a job that you have done.

To Dave Lofty Foster. My sincere apologies for the PS on the end of the last message I sent. It has been pointed out to me that this is a public site and as such I should have not ask you where the pics are. This Denbury Boy has also pointed out that since joining the Denbury Boys group I have only been after self gain.
I can assure him and anyone who really knows me that being a member of the Denbury Boys group has for me been costly. From making up shortfalls from re-unions, Wreaths for funerals, Support of Denbury Boys with loans to support for funeral and families. I would ask any to show where I have personally gained from being a member of this group. This same guys says that you all need "Leadership" well bollocks you are all grown up and are capable of making your own decisions. It would be ever so funny if it wasn't so sad that the guy is serious.

The format for Barnsley is the same as always interms of Booking Rooms and Food. The hotels will not take booking until February next year as the diary will not be open until after the Festive 2017/18 period which can last until end of January 18.
I am sure the organiser Phil Kirk will publish more nearer the time. To help judge the numbers you can register your intending attendance on the left side of the screen under Attending Barnsley list.
Regards
Jim.
PS Dave Lofty Foster where are the reunion pics.
