Hi All,

A happy New Year to all and pleased to read Jock Kelly is being looked after by the NHS and recovering well ? I met up with Tony Hargreaves and his wife Jean in Perth, Australia recently and both of them are well. We’re on our way to NZ shortly, but will be returning to Perth in mid February for a few more weeks prior to returning to the U.K. Hopefully, we’ll meet up with Tony & Jean on our return to Perth.

Reunions Thankyou
This year marks the last Barnsley reunion.
From the very first official one in 2005 it has been well attended and thank all those that made it so.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank others that have given their time and effort over the years in arranging and hosting reunions that I personally have attended.
Steve Wright who organised the Iserlohn based on the ex Sgt mess hotel and later at the Peters hotel in Wingst Germany.
Mike Butcher for the NA and Taunton.
In particular the team ( Phil Kirk, Jim Humphries) and myself for the 2017 Racecourse (Not the Final Parade) event.
Winston Manning for the many Canada and Florida events and last but not least Bob Mackay for the Virginia USA get together.
All were most enjoyable and relaxing.
As we all get older and travel becomes more difficult there is always a time to say the end and for Barnsley this year is that time.
So again thank you all for your attendance and to those that gave their time in organising others to keep us all together.

In my previous email I stated that I had contacted Moya. I also stated that she confirmed that we could remember Bob in our normal Denbury Boys way. That we could raise donations to help her.
Following my conversation Steve Wright contacted her and sent me an Email to the effect I had caused he much distress and should not contact her again. I tried ringing her a couple of times with no answer so sent the "Text" below.

"Moya
My sincere apologies for causing you upset. Steve has sent a quite strong email and has demanded I do not contact you further
He states that I have posted Bob's passing on open sites. This not true. The only person to post was Steve who now claims he was a Facebook Virgin and has withdrawn access to the site. I did try ringing but no answer so sorry for the text. Steve claim to be Bob's best friend I do not agree as he used Bob as a Donkey to do all his jobs he would not do himself. Again I apologise for the distress I have caused you. Whilst we have never met so do know how Bob loved you after Jenny. I have called for financial help but in line with your feelings expressed to Steve will cancel this and return the funds donated. Again accept my sincere apologies for the distress Steve says Ihave caused you. Bob was much loved and to me it is a shame we cannot even enter him in our last post section for those that have passed. I promise I will not contact you again
Jim Chalky White"

Bob was a much loved by some and much liked by many. I cannot remember any other Denbury Boy who's passing we could not discuss who's life we could not celebrate and who's death we cannot record.
Funds that have received by cheque will be destroyed and I will give personal confirmation. Funds received into the bank account will also be returned. Alternatively these can be used towards some kind of memorial to Bob on one of the many walks he has done with some of you guys in the form of a bench-Tree etc.

Hi there Signallers, this is a tremendous longshot for any old timers out there.
My brother Derek Gallop was in the Corps in the 60's, whilst stationed in Malta in April 1965 was on R&R he went for a swim and the tide took him aged just 18.
If there is anyone on here that remembers him or the sad event I would love to get in touch as I was only young when he passed and would love to know more about him.
Thanks for reading this. Les

Tony and all.
I am amazed Mr Wright that you are still trying to “Bully” and make demands of Tony to which you have no right to do. I will try and keep this email short but need to cover many and varied points you have raised.
Lets take a look briefly and your actions over the last few of years and track you’re your disruptive behaviour which I believe was by intention for your own benefit.
1. Cause a split from the main site run by John Thompson because of some previous fall out over a meal you left before payment.
2. Caused a further split of the site started by Phil Kirk
3. Closed the history site which was open and free and made it only available to people that you personally allowed to view content. My believe is that this was an attempt by you to make it by “Subscription” to raise money.
4. Threatened Tony Gask last year in an attempt to get Tony to close down his site (which he nearly did) which would then allow you to proceed with the point raised in 3 above.
Copyright. You have no claim to copyright for any content on your website “Denbury Junior Leaders” the reason is as follows . FACTS cannot be copyrighted. Most of the information on your site i8s fact (it happened). Where there is pictures or diagrams or drawings to claim copyright you would have to be the author of the works, which you are not. An example is that I spend 10 years researching “Prehistoric Man” I publish a book and people start to use my words. No copyright exists
Because “Prehistoric” man is fact it did happen.
Claimed abuse you say you have suffered “Rubbish” I stand by all I have posted and you will not demand that they be removed. If you disagree, you have a course of action you can take.
As to the 2 “emails” you refer to and accuse Tony of removing These were not Emails as you well know but Facebook postings by Moya’s daughter and probably removed at your request to her.

You are a liar when you said you supplied what was requested by Jim Humphries in preparation for the 2017 reunion. You refused I believe your words were” I am unable to help you”.
Just as matter of interest how much money did you take at the 2005 reunion for “Badge” charges.
You do seem to be fixated on being the first to know of the death of both Bob and Leo. Following the death of Leo you probably kept in contact with Linda for a matter of weeks (according to her). I on the other hand kept in contact and sponsored he to reunions for 2 years, why because Leo was a mate. You never saw Bob after 2017 but maintain he was a best friend, time will tell how good a friend he was in the way you support Moya over the coming months years.

I have Mr. Wright supported you over many years with financial help of gifts of money, Loan of £5,000 in case you had to leave Germany in a hurry and which was deposited in your UK bank. I have allowed you to use my Spanish property FOC and even pre-paid your Christmas Day Lunch for 2 years running.

I have no idea of what or why you have now turned into the disruptive, augmentative person you have become. Whatever your problems are you need to get them fixed because to continue with the behaviour you are showing now will loose you even more friends and not just the ones who have their final posting.
Finally I do understand and accept Bobs Family wishes. I am attempting to contact Bobs family in Brentwood to gain further information as to a “Total” Blackout of Bobs death.

Going forward do not give Tony any further grieve you are a Bully and we all know what happens to them eventually. Enjoy your life and stop trying to ruin other peoples.

Will not be able to attend the Taunton reunion this year, that day is grandson's farewell part in Bracknell. He leaves for his 14 week basic course at Pirbright on the Monday. He wants to join the Household Cavalry, the Donkey Wollopers. Many of you met Kyle at Blandford RSA a several occasions, he's a great lad and has been eager to join up since about the age of 10.
