For Stewart Robertson. Crikey, you finally turned up. Your memory is better that mine, that must have been a fair blether with Ken. I did try tracking you down a couple of years ago, someone had told me that you were living in or near Aberdeen!!, I was in the area for a couple of days and spent most of them with a telephone directory.
My email is fourshore1@gmail.com if you send me some contact details, I will give you a call. Welcome...

Sadly, some inconsiderate relly has decided to have their sprog baptised on the weekend of the Taunton re-union so I will be unable to attend. It has caused some friction between the good Mrs Waight and myself I can tell you. I have suggested that she attend the baptism and I go to Taunton but she won't wear that.

Have been around Denbury since late 2001, very impressed having found myself on the internet after a period in hospital, so this got me thinking about those early days, unable to join the Yahoo Group (lack of skills) relocated to Germany Jan 2002 and was finally able to join the group and attended my first reunion in Ripon May 2002 meeting strangers and making friends, thanks to Mick Lumgair was able to meet up with White Spear lads from my time shortly afterwards, having our own reunion in Harrogate, after a comment on the Yahoo Group “Kohima was the best troop in the regiment and worn an orange flash what colours did the other troops wear” being self-employed with the time on my hands found time to research our history and created denburyjuniorleaders.com, hoping the content who bring back memories for everybody, since then have found the lack ability of folks to work together, something I have always prepared to do, today there are three Facebook groups why?
Wishing all ex 6 BTR and Junior Leaders from Denbury Days. A very Merry Christmas to you and your families and every Happiness and good health for the coming New Year 2017.

Guys
The Barnsley re-union is October as you know. Around 30 have booked through this site but I know some of the regulars are not on this site. If you have booked direct with the hotel can you drop myself or Phil Kirk a mail confirming. Come end of August Phil will have to release rooms not taken.

Hi Steve Wright, still with us then, I hope Karin is well, Marianne sends her regards. I think the groups' problem is, the age time span. I am 79 this month, not many of us left and most dont comment or answer comments or leave nasty remarks . So what is the point? The younger ones are more active and thats fair enough. I left the group, I did not intend to, but I was clearing the Facebook detritus, and everything went, I have never bothered rejoining. Stay well both of you! JB!

I have just had my appointment for a knee replacement, postponed for the fourth time. When I questioned why "The military Covenant" was not working for me, my surgery say that my notes do not identify me as a Veteran (despite my telling that I was).
There is a special NHS code to be placed on your Medical Record, it is, "13JY", you should question whether that code appears on your record and if not, insist that it is or words to the effect "The patient is a Military Veteran". The point is that having served your country and by virtue of The Military Covenant, you are entitled to some priority in the diagnosis and treatment process. It is imperative that that NHS Code 13JY or it's Queens English equivalent is noted on your record. I have been advised that each time I visit the Dr, I should also remind them of my entitlement to the benefits of that code. Good luck...George
