I met John, Or Cookie as we called him, about 5 years ago in Dorchester. He lived at that time in West Lulworth, a tiny villages next to Lulworth Cove in Dorset. He rose to the rank of Captain with the corps then went to work with the Dorset Police in a management role. Cookie was from Manchester, as I was, and became my junior troop sgt in Jerboa. I next met him whilst on detachment in Tongren, Belgium. A really great lad. Sorry I don't have any more details.
