For the second time in 2 weeks someone has hacked my Facebook account. If you have received a "Friends Request" from me ignore it. I have ample friends and whoever it is is now being traced. Facebook to it down with 6 minutes and have promised an investigation. Not sure they will but hey. Thanks Mr. Zuckerberg.

Hello, went to a funeral in Gloucester today, it was for a lad who died on the 9th Jan, I found out about it, when they asked for a rsa standard bearer to attend the service, so I went along, he was born in 1949, joined up in boys service, but his son seems to think he went to the unit in Chepstow, and then joined the Signals, he was a tech by trade, served in malta '70 - '72, married his wife there and his life went on. His name is William (Bill) George Littlewood. Seems he was welsh life mad and also mad about L\Rovers, so much that his hearse was one, very posh, but yes a L\R. His coffin was draped with a R Signals standard. A very good service and a very nice family..
Regards, Terry..

Taunton (February Reunion 2022)
Hi Taunton Reunion regulars and all.
Over the past couple of year’s the Blackbrooke Tavern has sadly been become a poor venue. As they are now classed as a restaurant, they close at 10.00. Only serve minimum of choice of beers, and food served during the day, and have even ran out of beer and gas, for the pumps. A carvery is available at night.
With a general approval of you all I am thinking possibly, of moving the reunion to Weymouth in Dorset. There is a Premier Inn, 60 rooms as you enter the town from Dorchester. There is a second Premier near the beach much larger, a taxi drive away. Within walking distance is a pub which is a popular pub in that area. It serves food all day with full bar facilities and several choices of ales and lagers.
Having spoken with the landlord he can provide us with our own area with ample seating and dining tables for our needs. The pub is a Marston’s so food is available all day. On the Saturday evening a meal, buffet, curry, Roast dinner can be provided if we wish.
Over the last few years several of us has made Taaunton a weekend away, Weymouth is a lovely little town well worth a visit.
So please pass on your views and comments so a decision can be made, the proposed date would be 25/26th February.
Regards
Mike & Sue.
