A thank you for all the people who made us feel welcome on Friday evening at the Holiday Inn Barnsley. It was our first Denbury reunion and probably not the last. We were unable to make the whole weekend, only the Friday but we all enjoyed it. Thank you

On behalf of Phil Kirk and myself a big "Thank You" to all who manage to find the time to attend this years Barnsley Denbury Boys. The whole weekend seemed to fly by. The raffle raised some £485 and Phil (he is now away on his hols) will publish some more details later. The next reunion is Las Vegas in March and it would be nice to see a few of you there. Hope you all enjoyed and hope to see some of you in Barnsley next October.

Now got my letter for vaccine jab. Booked both 1st and second. First is Monday 25th Jan and second is 13th April. Only down side is I have to go to Sheffield but hell it will be worth it.

Some of you may have known that Harry Harris partner had a fall at the Holiday inn on Friday night. Please see below Harry's sit rep.

Annie is getting over her fall...the bruising is coming out and her nose is still very sore.
She now waits to see the ENT specialist at Buckland Hospital, Dover.
We went to Hallamshire Hospital, Sheffield on Saturday afternoon where they cleaned her up a bit more and gave her some cream and antibiotics.
She also had an antitetanus. We stopped at her son’s place at Thurcroft on Saturday night so they’ve had more time together than was planned. She hadn’t seen him for three years so they were able to catch-up on things. We came back here on Sunday.

She’s a tough old bird, as you know, but this has shaken her up ...she just has to take it easy for a while until she get her confidence back.

Anyway, thanks for your concern and understanding...much appreciated.
It was one of those things...and thanks to the Holiday Inn managers on duty she was attended to very quickly.
I’ll keep you posted, Jim...as matters progress.

I would like to thank everyone, in particular, Phil Kirk and Chalky White for the super gift in recognition of my photographically recording the Reunions over the past few years, it has been and absolute pleasure.
Sorry Val and I couldn't be with you this year but a life saving Operation took priority.
Here's looking forward to next year.
