This site brings back memories that are mostly good except for freezing my b---- off on dartmoor doing the dreaded marches. Denbury was a good start to adult life it s a great pity that it is no longer open for young lads of to day.
Would love to hear from anyone who knows me from denbury-chick brister bob watts jock mccormick jackie wraith cliff cunliffe niarobi 1962-1964 bahrein 1964-1965 n.ire 1965-1968 thank you for this web-site to enable us all to contact memories from the past

Amazed. Ten tors running this week i suppose triggered off the memory. Dartmoor still our favorite stamping ground. Trained an army cadet team a few years back. I too was a fanfare trumpeter starting tt from hay tor. Spec op in 13 sigs 224 swazi. Kuching. My brother george ian was j/sgt in javelin troop on the first ttors used to bull the underside of his boots!
