Finding this site today by accident has been scary because it brought so many memories flooding back. Denbury was not the happiest period of my life and i am amazed that so many people look back on it with pleasure. However ten tors 1964 is something that i remember with pride and i have always been grateful to dave henle (potholer mentioned in other notes) and michael(???) Hopkins for completing our rump team of three.

Very pleased at discovering this web site as i ve had no contact with anybody from denbury since leaving other than josie campbell who i bumped into while serving with 7th sigs in germany. The dave ? Potholer from devon that john cudmore refers to in his comments is me. Mick crooks and myself seemed to spend as much time under the ground as on top in those days. Look forward to hearing from you guys.
