I am very pleased to report that J/Sgt Dennis (Benny) Benfold Lion Tp has responded to my search for him. I ve just been speaking on the telephone and he remembers Ivan Pearson and many others well. He was the JNCO in E Tp Junior Sqn Aug-Dec 64 with Sgt Taff Evans. He ll have plenty to add when he signs on.

For my sins I rose to the dizzy heights of J/SSM and never quite forgave Dusty Miller for pipping me at the post for J/RSM! Are you still around dusty? I was also one of Yatey s boys being a fanfare trumpeter and eventually Drum Major.

Good to see that the site is going ahead. It would be good to hear from anyone who remembers me from the R Tp years (57) to my departure for 24 Sigs in early 60. I recall most of the older blokes in H Tp and probably a few in L Tp. I hope to get back for the big one but we ll have to see how the financial situation is. Mike W
