Watching the Albert Hall Remembrance day show reminded me of the JLR Choir appearance way back in 1960 It was also great to get to my first DBG reunion in Barnsley a couple of weekends ago and meet up again with Chas Birchall Chalky White Leo Marchant and of course all the other guys who were there.

Hello. Browsing through the Denbury Days guest book and viewing the many photographs reminded me of my time at Denbury......some good some bad. I rememeber some of the troop members Jimmy Lycett Jimmy Sneddon Bugsy Bourguise Jock Dodge Rodgers Tomo Thompson to name but a few. Would welcome contact with anyone who remembers me.

Great idea of yours this site. Gives a nice gut feeling for the past although times could be tough they were good days and very well remembered like your army serial No 23473770 you never forget. It s been great reading through the guest list. Anyway have a good reunion this year 2006. Denbury camps not the same is it but just the right place for old S/SgtYates to run and his little fat Corporal Nicholls.

Just found the Old Boy s site. and its great to see that some of the 56-59 intake are still alive and kicking. Great times and great pals-pity it isn t still going today-it would do a lot of youngsters a power of good. Best wishes to all.
