Found out about the group from Colin Lawrence we were in hosptal together this week. I moved from Beverley (6 Boys training Regiment) to Newton Abbott and wonder whether anyone out there shares the same memories?

Hi All Are there any ex Denbury lads out there who may have served in Singapore 1966-68 ?. I am trying to contact / trace 23963086 Peter Daly also Lion tp 63-65. He was last seen by myself when he came up to Terendack Camp Mallaca on an LCT as radio op. I left Denbury in Dec 64 due to problems at home but re-enlisted into the Royal Artillery in Aug 65 and went to Malaya with the 6th Light RA I met up with a load of lads at Tanglin GHQ on a flying visit and they told me my old mate Pete Daly was out there too I left my address and when he had the chance he did look me up that was the last time I saw him. John Bevis says he must have been attached to the RCT any info of the RCT Sqn or Signal unit may help track him down Best regards to all and thanks to Tony for this site (him also being my intake and trade class ) all the best Ivan (ike) Pearson Swadlincote South Derbyshire

Just spotted Rick Licence s name in the back entries. Hi Rick. I was in the Crytpo Agency Hong Kong when you were at 27 Sig Regt. I remember you went to Hawaii in my place with Capt. Harry Wright. It was originally going to be Guam. I said I did not want to go there then after you were chosen they changed to Hawaii. I didn t have the heart to change my mind (Harry wouldn t let me anyway)!! Seem to recall you did not see much of the place A quick walk down to the beach then non stop till you left. At least you had a trip on the Queens Flight. All gthe best. Jim
