Hi All I was nowhere near being a good soldier but I enjoyed my time at Denbury upon reflection I would not have missed it for the world. Joined the band under Yatesy then was put into the pipe band. I well remember one Burns Night we did for some exiled Scots down there. We piped the Haggis in and afterwards we were slipped a wee dram and danced the Gay Gordons with my Hobnails on.

I was one of the national servicemen posted in from Catterick to install and set up the teleprinter class room (on the left side going down)Did`nt like the number of guard duties we did but appreciated the long holidays.

Now then Brummy as I said in my E Mail my memories range from the vivid recollection to- bloody hell I don t remember that . Yes you will see a few old names but why not go to Floggit and then you can really swing the lamp !
