Hi there. I am Bill Braines daughter Caroline. My dad joined the Junior leaders regiment at Denbury Camp in September 1961. I believe he was F troop (yellow flash on epaulette). He said he was in the spider that burnt down. He became 244 signals air support. Left in 1973. Does anyone on here remember him? Sadly he has early Alzheimer's - so he lives with me now - but some of his memories are a bit muddled.

Thankyou for all of your messages sent to me on F Book ref my recent Stroke. They cheered me up at a time when I felt very vulnerable and low in mood. I have progressed very well since then, and find it hard to believe that it is only three weeks since I became ill. I was able to go to the Reunion in Weymouth on Saturday Which was organised by MIke Butchers.(Thanks MIke). We all had a great time. I am still getting tired quickly, but am looking forward to doing some gardening soon. Best Wishes to all. MIke(Prof)Boissé.

To all ex-Denbury boys, your wives and families,
Easter, as you know is a Christian religious festival, something that of late and for political purposes we are encouraged to refrain from acknowledging as such, however, at this time, Sue and I pray that you all stay safe and well through this difficult period, regardless of your personal beliefs and we will hopefully see you in the not too distant future.

Hi All,
I am looking for anyone who may have known my great aunt Eva, known as 'Eve'. She was in the WVS and spent a lot of time at Denbury Camp, even running the Balaclava Club. Infact, there are a couple of articles with her in the The Mercury :-)
I would love to hear anything you may remember of her.
Thanks in advance :-)

Chris, I wasn't trying to get a lift, the way these trains run, I get to torquay about 10.50, and the next one is due in at 12.40, so I had to go for the early
one, so I have plenty of time to get there, just finding out how is the problem !!.so thanks for the offer. Terry.

Not heard from Jock Kelly for sometime, would meet him in Pompey for small yomp and a coffee whenever I visited my outlaws. Lost his contact number. I know he had some health issues.
Just checking if anyone has heard from him.
Stay Safe All.

Hi Emma, I think I remember Eve Boswell during my time. Eve was very kind to the boys especially those of us who smoked. Eve would always engage us in conversation and some times she would give us a ciggie. Believe me the odd cigarette was sometimes a life saver. The Eve I remember would have been in her 50's....I think she wore glasses. Regards, Dave Clapson.
