On behalf of Frank (geordie) Pierpoints family and myself I would sincerly like to thank you for all the phone calls e-mails and tributes of condolences especially those brothers who attended his funeral he would have been truly proud to have so many attending such a very sad event. Some travelled for 10 hours return journey just to be there. Your attendance certainly helped to releave some of the sorry sadness and burden of this tragic event. When we meet again no doubt we will be raising a glass in his honour and no doubt he will be looking down on us having a good laugh because he managed not to pay for yet another round. Thank you once again

Brothers Thank you for your e-mails and phone calls of condolences Frank would have been proud to know that his brothers have shown concern regardless of where in the world that you are now. He always loved to go to the Denbury reunion and was planning his next trip 12 months in advance our hotel is booked and only last week he was rabbiting on about the journey down (which is a long one) over the years we have gone by car train and have flown infact when we flew on our return journey we spent 8 hours in the airport just waiting to come back home. He was a very loving caring family man. Gloria his lady was the light of his life as was His Daughter Luan Son Lee sister Maria brother in law Terry his mam Stan Susan and his lovely grandchildren to name but a few the list is endless. I also had the privilage of being a big part of his life and I cannot at the moment get my head around him no longer being here for me.No one will be able to take his place and the world will be a lesser place without him. I was very proud to call him my friend. cheers mate I will not say farewell because we WILL meet again Frank

Hello brothers. It is with great sadness that I have to advise you that i have lost my good friend Frank(Georgie) Pierpoint. He was the best friend and comrade that anyone could have. He was always there for me in times of troubles. We were inseperable until death which has come far too soon for such a good caring and lovely person. I am so privelaged to have been his friend and the hole that has been left in my life is unbearable to think about. We could not be seperated in life and certainley not in death. We were one. His family he loved as i did. The world was a good place with him around without him well i just do not know. I know that time heals but the wound will just be covered over. Until we meet again my friend. You shall always be remebered. We had so many plans for the future that will no longer happen. Your Denbury you always loved and talked about.farewell my friend i shall never have another friend like you who cared shared and you never stopped bloody talking. Till we meet again.

Been quietly reading the digest for some time now and recognise a few names. Thought it might be safe to stick my head above the parapet
