As usual we would like to know where our friend John Peter Simpson is these days (aka Tat). We all remember him fondly in 208 Signals Squadron Malacca where he served with Tony Ratcliffe Ernie Soapy Hudson Alby Simpson and the late Alan Sixsmith.

Luckily I got through Denbury with no stain on my record and consider myself pretty well off not to have been promoted. A tradition I would have kept up for the next six years except they made me become a tehnician (wanted to be dispatch rider) which of course came with a stripe but I did manage not to get any more of them. I did try to get rid of the first one a couple of times but each time the charges were thrown out and I ended up with an exemplary record. Damn near broke the old man s heart. Nice site Steve.
