Hi Doug Are you sure he wasn t called Ferguson-Bayliss we had a lad in 207 Sigs (Soltau) in 1964.It may be the same person.I know a few lads who served with me and Fergy-Bayliss at the time.I will ask a few questions as to his whereabouts but it seems he went off the planet after Soltau. If I find anything out I shall post on here. All the best. Cheers. Jock.

Les I remember Bob Peake a BIG fella who also took supervision of the ballroom dancing and he always ensured you danced with one of the girls who came to camp by grabbing your nipple twisting it and on your tiptoes you would follow him anywhere. I went for the free buns and cups of tea the pain was worth it.

My first visit to the site-after Sieggie Hebdon told me Roger Fairfield was asking if I m still around. I m not much of a reunion type man but seeing all the names in the guest book brought back many memories although everyone seems to have aged considerably whereas I m just approaching 40 !!.Best wishes.Glenn Harwood

I was one of the last intake at Denbury and moved to Harrogate.Denbury for me was really enjoyable in many respects. Harrogate on the other hand did not make me happy. We were used to being soldiers first but there it was trades first. Most thought that it was the wrong way round especially as we got pay rises for completing and passing various military tasks.
