Last orders Newton Abbot Reunion 2010 Owing to change of management and loss of their chef at the Union Inn It has been decided necessary to change the venue of this yearâ??s event. This yearâ??s reunion will take place on Friday 10th and Saturday 11th September 2010 and will follow previous yearâ??s format. Friday. Informal get-together at the Queens Hotel in the evening.Saturday: If numbers dictate we will be doing the long walk back to camp along the River Lemon passing the old camp and calling in at the o The Jolly Sailor Ogwell for lunch. We will be leaving the clock tower at 10.00 hrs. Those who do not wish to walk there is ample car parking at the Jolly Sailor where they serve reasonably priced bar food and lunches. This yearâ??s reunion will be held at The Jolly Sailor at 19.00hrs in their excellent function room the number of those attending will be limited to 50. A buffet will be served during the evening and there will be background music available. I am sure John and his staff will provide us with the best possible service during the evening. The Barnsley reunion is now fully booked with some 126 Denbury Boys and Wives and Partners attending. For those that have not been before we have a slight change to the Format this year. The Saturday function this year is in the Fitzwilliam Suite. The event kicks off a 7pm. The entertainment is both Live and Disco 60s and 70s. A buffet will be served at 9pm consisting of both HOT and COLD including a Curry Stall serving Beef and Chicken with rice. Dress code is SUITED and BOOTED. Look forward to seeing you there.

Hi all ex Denburyites!! i was introduced to this site following a 45 minute catch up with my best mate from those days Trev Lewis. i had no idea this sire exsisted i hadnt spoken to Trev or seen him for 30 years but the memories came flooding back Brilliant times to recall about. I hope to attend the Re-union in September ( wife permitting!!).Any who know me please drop me a line. I am still working full as a manager of field engineers with SKY.Did 15 years in the mob then 14 years in Leicestershire Fire service until Cancer struck but all clear some 12 years ago.

I often browse the site but see almost no Iron Troop 58-60 names.Just thought I would check in and see if there are any still around. I remember a number of us went on to 23 Signal Regt Lincoln to train as TG Ops. All the best to anyone of this era.
