We signed on the same day at Reading with Bob Millsand travelled down on the train together. their last three 629 and 630. mine was 631. I remember we were met by a Warrant Officer at the station very tall and intimidating. I nearly got back on the train when he took my cigarettes and chewing gum from me. Good luck in Aus. Vic. I thought it was a great place when I was there in the mid 80s. best regards to all who remember me.

G day Vic Zimmer! Your name is definitely familiar but sadly my memory for faces is not as good as my memory for names! I migrated to Oz in 1974 (few years after demob) and now living in Vietnam but will be back in Oz for at least a year or so from next July (2011).
