trying to make contact with a old mate who was my best man nearly 46 years ago . his name is anthony (andy) hand he served at 2 signsl regiment at bunde with me until 68 then he was posted to hong kong . he visited me at durham in the seventies with his wife and two daughters . he was from the stockton area and his wife from preston area. thats about as much as comes to mind now . not a lot but just maybe someone recalls him.

Tony Hand was in Kohima same time as me and left about the same time as well met him several times during my army life last time was at 16 sigs. i cantr remember if he has ever surfaced on denbuyr boys site .regards terry.

Just found this website fantastic. I was in Jerboa Troop 1960 to 1963. Names I remember from then Eric (Eggsie) Tai Dave Stevens Taffy Watson Mick Lally Willy McLeod Ted Haslam Ginge Lister Jackie Blackborough to name but a few. Glad to see life is still out there. I have checked for past few weeks and no comments. I know many of us are now in retirement years and hope you are all enjoying them to the best of your ability. The Denbury days set us up for the rest of our lives it set the standard gave us discipline and confidence and the meaning of comeradeship.Much water has gone under the bridge many changes have taken place but some things always remain.
