Very sorry to hear the news of Bill s passing. I never knew him but as has been said he was one of us.For Keith Harding. Keith I understand what you are saying but I believe you miss the point of the other place and the causes for such a move. It was the passing of a Denbury boy that caused the rift and not in itself but by the suspisious nastieness of a member who openly indicated that the facts as given could not be true and that the raising of funds was in someway a con. People are entitled to their opinions and that I openly accept but nasty slanderous statements should not be made and the Moderators of the other site should have responded in a more proactive way. I can let most things go but that was the point of no return. Yes I have joined the other site and had it not been started would have severed all links apart from this site. On a lighter note the Barnsley reunion is a few weeks away and I look forward to seeing all those that are attending. Still a few rooms left if anyone is unsure. Some 118 people comming.R.I.P Bill

So sorry to hear the news about Bill Winder we have been ex changing emails for quite some time now and although we had not seen each other since the early sixties i like to think we had become good friends. Certainly for me he will be sorely missed.
