Looking for history: can someone please tell me when Rawlinson barracks close . Yeh why not tell me when it opened and how many of our brothers passed through the gates over the years. It is interesting to know as we who did enter those gates are part of a very select and are sadly decreasing in number. AGAIN Iam asking for all those ex Bruno / Romulus lads to come and take part as I am still looking for you.I have been told John Sharman is still alive and kicking . Come on John make contact. There are lots more that I could name. But want to here from you all.

Hi Les. I remember your name from our time we could possibly have done nig wing together. Do you remember Ken Bagnal? Johnny Sharman not in PC mode but I phoned him once and he came to the Floggit reunion the year before last he lives in Princetown. Still the same old John looking about 30 years younger than the rest of us now though. Regards and best wishes. Mike.

Very sorry to hear the news of Bill s passing. I never knew him but as has been said he was one of us.For Keith Harding. Keith I understand what you are saying but I believe you miss the point of the other place and the causes for such a move. It was the passing of a Denbury boy that caused the rift and not in itself but by the suspisious nastieness of a member who openly indicated that the facts as given could not be true and that the raising of funds was in someway a con. People are entitled to their opinions and that I openly accept but nasty slanderous statements should not be made and the Moderators of the other site should have responded in a more proactive way. I can let most things go but that was the point of no return. Yes I have joined the other site and had it not been started would have severed all links apart from this site. On a lighter note the Barnsley reunion is a few weeks away and I look forward to seeing all those that are attending. Still a few rooms left if anyone is unsure. Some 118 people comming.R.I.P Bill
