I’ve just enjoyed two hours listening to our own”desert island discs” type radio programme , namely Tony Gask’s radioshow.mp4 .Click on Misc and then Radio Show. Well done Tony it was really such a pleasure listening to your life experiences. Your selections of artistes and their lyrics brought back memories, some of which I had long since forgotten. And well done Lesley as I too liked the Beach Boys Surfing USA.

Newton Abbot Reunion 2024. UPDATE.
Just a gentle reminder that this years reunion is only a few weeks away. To be held on 13th 14th September at the RBL Newton Abbot. This years event is a week later than normal as requested by the regulars to coincide with the September 64 intake. A cold finger style buffet has been organized for Saturday evening at a small charge of £6.00 per head. I need to confirm numbers for the buffet by the 5th September. Please pay Sue on entry on the Saturday night.

Further to my last message on the 27 Jan 2020 I have heard from
Steve Wright who knew Dave He was a JSgt in White Spear Troop in 1966 Dave then went to 3 Troop in 196, AAC Harrogate Sep 1967 and graduated in August 1968
AAC Harrogate do not have Dave registered on their database
I have found two photos of Dave on this site and also heard from John Coleman who visited Dave's home in Leeds on several occasions
Would be grateful to hear from anyone else who knew Dave

I would just like to send a special thank you to Mike and Sue for organising another fantastic reunion. As usual it was great to meet up with old pals and have a chat in a very cosy and friendly atmosphere. Looking forward to the February reunion wherever it might be. Thanks again Mike and Sue for the fantastic work you both do to keep the reunions going.

Tony, than you for agreeing to stay on and keep the site running, your site is the only source of what I need for my Denbury contacts, this includes the funeral details of our members who have passed and it is important .

Thanks Chris Jones for pointing me towards Steve Kent. Unfortunately, I'm a dinosaur and don't use Face Book etc. I note that Steve was at the Reunion in Newton Abbot once again this year. September is generally the month that I travel in to Europe collecting further GR's (Grand Randonnees, Long Distance footpaths). These connect France, Belgium, Netherlands etc and are fantastic way of exploring Europe via the mountainous regions. Hopefully, in 2025 I'll be able to push back my travel dates and get down to Newton Abbot to join the guys for a beer or two.

This site is too valuable to all us genuine ex Denbury boys to lose, perhaps if we knew the individuals name we could all post on his site individually what we think of the obnoxious s***. This is not the first time somebodies ridiculous and scurrilous accusations have led to a comrade stopping organising events on our behalf, Chalkie and Barnsley spring to mind and I think we should all let this individual know our feelings regarding his interference.
