Hi Graeme/Jock All being well we should be attending the Taunton reunion I`ll have a word with Bob Maclaren about going but he has a new lady friend?I remember very clearly the night out at the Catterick Naffi Club we were celebrating our new postings when you decided to liven things up a bit by downing your Vodka in one and smashing the glass into a fireplace in the bar area Russian style! We all joined in and surprise surprise early on we ended up in the MP`s Nick I got 14 days Jankers was accused of being the ring leader but not sure what happened to Cess Parkinson?Happy Days Jock

Well done Frank you are the first to answer. Where are you staying when you come to the reunion and is Harry Beresford coming as well. The throwing of the vodca glasses was as far as I recall started by Cess (hence the case of mistaken identity I like you just joined in) I got docked 12 days pay. I promise not to mention the bashed in front door on the Fiat 600. Got e mail from Bob he is still going strong with love life tell him to get on this site tis time we all met up again last time was when we bumped into each other on the tail end of Princess Street in Edinburgh 196? outside the Rutland Bar.

I have been in contact with National Arboretum Memorial (NAM)aka National Memorial Arboretum (NMA) I have been floating the idea of having a site (Tree & Plaque)for Denbury. I am now at the stage where things will move a little quicker and was wondering if many others were up to the idea. If we go ahead we would probably attend a small dedication service in the chapel Raise our flag plant the tree (what kind?) and have someone say a few words. I have been there a couple of times with others I served with. There is a cost associated with doing such things which is something else to think about.Any thoughts?Have funHarry

Looking for input from: Alan Pinder Frank herod Chris Spearman Bob MacLaren and Ses Parkinson(have yet to speak to him about a case of mistaken identity where I was arrested instead of him in Catterick in 1962). Frank knows all about it. Thought I would liven up the site a bit. Chris you would never recognise the Station bar in Newton Abbot.Frank are you going to the Taunton reunion? Bob about time you came to a reunion that we are going to. Alan you will be missed if you don t come

For Mick (Prof) BoisseHi Mick Regarding your last post I can confirm that Phil Castle lives in the Harrogate area I believe in the village of Hampsthwaite..He is a regular attendee of the Harrogate Branch of the RSA.. He was commissioned and ended as a Major. I believe he worked as an RO at the old AAC Harrogate which is now an Army Foundation College.Hope this helps... may see you at Barnsley in 2012.RegardsJoe-3 Div 67-70
