Spoke with Ralph last night. Following all his tests there is no need for surgery and his consultant said he should take it as a warning. He will be on medication from now on and hopes to be discharged today. Can someone post this on the other place.Chalky

NATIONAL MEMORIAL ABORRETUM versus DENBURY for a memorialHi Harry W and all...we all passed through the South Gate so the side of the road just before the prison gates would be ideal if permission would the granted...if the Denbury Cross could be moved there would be the best or if not permitted then maybe a granite memorial in the shape of Haytor...HMP Channings Wood presented us with a wooden plaque in 2007...scroll down herehttp://www.denburyjuniorleaders.com/denburyboys.cfmWhichever memorial ends up there we could have a list of other branches of the Armed Services former Denbury Boys have served...according to the records on file Denbury Boys served with the following cap badgesRoyal Armoured Corps ?¢â?¬â?? Royal Tank RegimentRoyal Regiment of ArtilleryCorps of Royal EngineersInfantry ?¢â?¬â?? Green Jackets ?¢â?¬â?? Staffordshire RegimentSpecial Air ServiceArmy Air CorpsRoyal Corps of TransportRoyal Military PoliceRoyal Army Medical CorpsCorps of Royal Electrical and Mechanical EngineersAdjutant General s CorpsIntelligence CorpsRoyal Army Physical Training CorpsRoyal Army Education CorpsWe have been in almost every corner but do not have any detail for the following...can anybody help if a Denbury Boy served with:Household Cavalry and Foot Guards ?¢â?¬â?? the late Dave Naden is recorded Scots Guards while serving in the SAS but he was still Royal Signals the Special Forces Roll of Honour have it correctRoyal Horse ArtilleryRoyal Army Ordnance CorpsRoyal Logistic CorpsRoyal Army Veterinary CorpsRoyal Army Dental CorpsRoyal Army Chaplains DepartmentSmall Arms School CorpsCorps of Army MusicDo we have any Denbury Boys going to the Royal Air Force or Royal Navy...this is a massive project and need a TEAM to make it work...August 2017 is the 50th Anniversary of the Disbandment Parade and if the unveiling could be then along with a Bigger One reunion in Floggit it would be fantastic...
Hello Tony. Excellent site (your outfit seems familiar-I was a drummer in Yates mob). Sad to read about passing of Ali Jannaway and Mick Biglin (both on Romulus Tp annual photo 1964/5). Guestbook refers to some familiar names. Sgt Harry Meekins-he still stares straight though the camera on Jan 64 A Tp NIG Wing photo which was taken before the ritual hair shearing! Best wishes to all ex-Denbury Boys.
