Attended my first reunion of the Denbury Boys and was a bit surprised that I new more than one of the company. We were made to feel very welcome indeed and I am sure it will not be our last visit. Many thanks to all for a great night. Jock Nichol and Phil Wildes I enjoy the odd Whiskey and sip it slowly not to be drunk down in one or turn the glass upside down on your head. Hope you had a good hangover.

I joined September 54 Breighton for basic training then on to cold cold Selby. I joined the band before moving down to Denbury. I was trumpet major until leaving in 56. Trained as a TG operator at Catterick. My first posting was to 1 ASSU (later 244 Signal Squadron) in Lemgo Germany we moved about a bit and ended up in Lipstadt. I was posted to Kenya and joined 210 Sigs. Demobbed in in 1962. I have posted photographs on the Royal Signals Index site. Be nice to hear from anyone who remembers me or any of the lads who served at the time. Regards Bill. (22983203)
