Friday. 7th From 1900 hrs (The club is open from 14.00hrs- 23.59hrs) Informal get-together at the Royal British Legion Club (Function room) Marsh Road Newton Abbot TQ12 2AP on the Friday evening. Saturday 8th 10.00hrs There will be the LONG WALK BACK TO CAMP for those who wish to stretch their legs we will be leaving from the clock tower at 10.00hrs. As previous year?¢â?¬â?¢s we will walk back to camp along the River Lemon passing the old camp and calling in at the Union Inn Denbury Green(if open) for refreshments before making our way to The Jolly Sailor Ogwell for lunch. Those who do not wish to walk there is ample car parking at the Union Inn and Jolly Sailor where they serve reasonably priced bar food and lunches. 19.00hrs This year?¢â?¬â?¢s reunion will be held at the function room The Royal British Legion Club Longford Lane Kingsteignton Newton Abbot Devon TQ12 3LH A buffet will be served during the evening and there will be background music available. In a nutshell I ve had quite a life. 1968 6Bde Signal Sqn T1 Catterick 9 Sigs Cyprus (during the coup !!) then 22 Sigs. 7 years in the UK Transport Manager of all things. Then 12 yrs in Saudi with SANGCOM (Saudi Arabian National Guard Communications Project. Had a heart attack there then open heart surgery. Moved to Canada 2000 and worked for Marconi Comms. Made redundant 2002 and set up a very small business doing stained glass. Check out my website geminiartglass.ca !! And the football went out the window Charlie pretty much when I left the Army . . . knees finally gave in. Its fascinating to think that after all these years there is still a Denbury bond.
