I would just like to inform all the folk that have served at Denbury Camp who did not attend the 2012 reunion at Newton Abbot organised superbly by Mike Butchers and his delightful wife Sue and I must add Phil Wiles did his bit as well that you will never know what you missed. I am a great believer that the Denbury Boys belong to Newton Abbot and that if you served there I believe you should support the efforts to maintain Newton Abbot as the central location for further REAL Reunions and lets face it who does not remember walking back to camp from Newton Abbot. Mike Butchers has got that organised for every reunion and I can tell you that it is a delightful walk. Passing through Bakers park Bradley woods (memories for all of us) Denbury village (drinks in the pub) then the back lane passing Denbury Camp followed by lunch at the Jolly Sailor Ogwell you can t beat it. If you have not tried it you will never know what you have missed. I look forward to meeting those who have not attended the Newton Abbot reunion at Barnsley and hope to gain thier support for strengthening the enthusiasm for a major Newton Abbot event that recognises the importance of our memories of Dembury Camp
