Hello BerylI have just read your post re the funeral sad indeed. You should know that not all of us read everything all the time.A lot of us were simply not aware of the death never mind a funeral.I did not know him or Leo and never attended Leo`s funeral either not because I did not care but because I was elsewhere. As chalky has said we did try and start a fund for such occasions this met with a lot of rejection and bad commentsand in itself contributed in a small way to the splitting of the group. That said a few of us have collected a small amount which we are using to have a permanent reminder/memorial to all Denbury Boysat the National Memorial Arboretum.Have funHarry Waugh

I visited Leo s grave earlier this year. It seems to me sad that it is just a patch of grass and a handmade wooden cross. I have spoken to Linda and she has no means of getting anything permanent erected. I ask if she would mind if the Denbury Boys erected a simple headstone. She said she would be grateful if this could be done. So I am asking if anyone would like to contribute to the cost of doing this. I estimate the cost to be around ?£1 000 erected. If you feel you can or want to contribute please send any donation to me. I already have a donation for ?£250 which I will match. Thanks in advance Chalky
