Beryl keep smiling we all love you. Tree & Plaque at NMAOK tree is now in the capable hands of Rachael at NMA 6-8 weeks to completion she is also dealing with our bench and is awaiting final funds and spring for base laying and site preparation which she says will be April 2013.We need to think about a small dedication on site.I have May 2013 in mind and have asked the question re dates and arrangements to Lynne at NMA who deals with such things.Keep free space around that time if you wish to be there. Perhaps a mini troop reunion weekend in the area; if anyone living in that neck of the woods wishes to organise?Do we have a Chaplin or someone who could take a service amongst our numbers?Have funHarry Waugh

The Denbury Cross is as Terry says at Okehampton Camp facing the moor and was placed there in tribute to the JLR being the founder of the annual Ten Tors competition.

FAO. Eddie Owens or anyone interested. Thanks for the reminder mate will get a email off to you soonest just a bad commuicator who like Harry WAUGH only manages to catch up every now and then. Bad news about Mike Smith cannot bring him to mind maybe couldn t remember me but I think Harry Waugh got it right. We should have a permanent memorial of the existence of THE DENBURY BOYS that will out last all of us because who will send the wreath to the last one to go. Can any one tell what happened to the DENBURY CROSS is it still in camp centre ? It would make a good memorial in the right setting. Cheer LES
