Heard about Harry last night. Tragic tale all round he was a real comic to know. RIP

Very sad to report the passing of Michael (Harry) Hewart.Harry was a member of Jerboa Troop and went to Catterick to attent TG4 Course in 1966.Hope Mo Beryne and Dennis Morgan see this-they were part of the Brige Club that was set up with Harry and myself when we voluntered for the week long fire picquet at 24 Sigs!! Much to the OC s amazement!!Very Very sad time and all our thoughts go to his family.Martin (Dicky) Davis

My heartfelf sympathy to family and friends of Harry who was one of the Stars amongst a few that made up the most fantastic Radio Telegraphist Training Contingent that was ever formed at Catterick ..............namely TG4.I have been truly shocked and saddened by this news tonight.Again my heartfelt wishes to all.John

I was going to suggest a while ago about a memorial service for Albiston and Ball at Newton Abbot but shied away from it but as there are not many left that remember the fire that awful night I still think it would be a good idea as boys at the time many shed a tear I think it is time to honour them and shed another.
