G day Eric Hoare it was the winter of 63 we had all the snow the worst on record since 1947. I was on the same sheep saving op as you but I must have been in a different group. After hours of trudging we left our pay load of hay only to see Royal Marines in Wessex throwing out more hay than the whole of White Swan could have carried not a very good exercise in communications.
