How did boys service have an effect. when I was 15 the local copper told me to sort myself out otherwise I would be in trouble. I joined up made junior sgt/m albiet reduced to jtg sgt for decking a queer. Emigrated to nz in 72 ended up running a multi national in Indinesia and am now retired boys service was my saving grace and will be back for blandford reunuion in june 2013. best thing the local copper could have advised...

Mike I just wanted to say thanks for a terrific time at Taunton. It was my first contact with any of you for 50 years and I didnâ??t know what to expect but while the years may have altered us all a little the bond was there as tight as ever. Thanks to everybody for making my wife Sue our daughter and myself so welcome they were spellbound by it all. Bob Mike Jock General an absolute pleasure to see you all again and revive those memories did I hear somebody say it only seems like yesterday? Chalky!! Unbelievable like finding a long lost brother get the beers on ice mate we are coming to Barnsley. Thanks once again to everybody for making it a memorable time and especially to you and your wife for organising it Mike. One last thing to Keith Harding with whom I grew up as a kid Kip Mike tells me you are not feeling too good I am sorry to hear that I was looking forward to seeing you so take care of yourself and I will hopefully see you soon.
