Hi Pete used to walk back there very often after spending the night in a pub. Does anyone remember the pub where we used to sit in a dark room at the back with an open window to make our escape if the bill turned up?????

Hi Pete.Maybe you should attend the Newton Abbot Reunion in September where on the Saturday morning we do The long Walk back to camp.We leave the Clock Tower walk up to the park and along the River Lemon and then up to the old camp passing the 6 foot wall/main gate. Then on the the Union Inn a a quick refreshment and then pass the camp/prison down the lanes to The Jolly Sailor where we spend a few hours and then back to NA to get ready for the evening reunion.

For Terry ReynoldsTerry Harry has explained why I said what I said It is not a jibe. Whilst there are 2 sites (and I have applied to re-join the other and been refused) there is only one Denbury Boys. To say that I would attempt to separate is something I do not like. I have tried to do things for Denbury Boys and their families without seeking any favours perhaps it s time for me to stop. As to arranging flights I would have a look on the internet.Chalky

Hi looking for anyone that knows me from the good old days. Hope that I have not left it too late to make any contacts. If someone asked me what I would like to do the most before I die It would be to do the walk from Newton Abbot to the old camp. Pete

Hi TerryChalky was referring (I think) to site members not being allowed to post third party messages from those who are barred from the other site. I am on all sites so tend to post where I wish.
