I would like to thank on behalf of John and I for the kindness in sending happy memories for me to read to John He is in a Nursing Home nearby after his stroke and the awful thing is he cant speak but when I read out the messages from you all you can see a tear in his eye as those where the happiest days of his army life and told me so many times. I cant thank you enough for your kindness. Heather

Tried to post message last night ref Sgt John Loveday. He has had a stroke and is not in too good a health at the minute but still enjoys getting messages from the denbury Boys. Hi allI have just received a telephone call from Bob Peake with the very sad news thatJane wife of John Maher passed away last night.Jane along with John attended several Taunton Reunions in the early years.Wheelchair bound Jane always enjoyed her day out at Taunton with the DenburyBoys especially the lads from Johns old troop Kukuri.Jane was a lovely lady and always had a warm welcoming smile and greeted youwarmly.Our thoughts must be with John and family at this very sad time I will postpost funeral arrangements when known.RIP Jayne.

Thanks to Harry Waugh and Ted Kilpin for various aspects of the NMA remembrance and reunion even the weather was kind to us a superb weekend.I had hoped to attend the NA Denbury reunion this year since it is 50 odd years since I scuttled through the gates. A walk on part for my youngest daughters wedding the same weekend prevents this.Best wishes to all who visit these pages...George
