Final Reminder Newton Abbot Reunion 2013 This yearâ??s reunion will take place on Friday 6th and Saturday 7th September 2013. Friday. 6th Once again we have the use of the upstairs bar of the Royal British Legion Marsh Road Newton Abbot TQ12 2AP. Located close to the centre of Newton Abbot with a large car park adjacent. A small sandwich buffet may be provided (possibly with a small charge ) subject to numbers. The club is open all day and I am sure you will be made welcome. Saturday 7th 10.00hrs There will be the LONG WALK BACK TO CAMP for those who wish to stretch their legs; we will be leaving from the clock tower at 10.00hrs. As previous yearâ??s we will walk back to camp along the River Lemon passing the old camp and calling in at the Union Inn Denbury Green(if open) for refreshments before making our way to The Jolly Sailor Ogwell for lunch. Those who do not wish to walk there is ample car parking at the Union Inn and Jolly Sailor where they serve reasonably priced bar food and lunches. 19.300hrs This yearâ??s reunion will be held at the function room The Royal British Legion Club Longford Lane Kingsteignton Newton Abbot Devon TQ12 3LH A buffet will be served during the evening and there will be background music available.The bar will close around 23.59hrs. We are off tonight down to Newton Abbot Two Mile Oak in the caravan for a couple weeks hope to meet a couple of the Newton Abbot lads. Will try and pick up any e-mails/messages. I cant believe its 50 years next month. when i first got off the train at Floggit station . I`ve changed over the years but i bet the station is still the same. Hello can anyone help me??? I am desperately trying to find any information relating to my grandad. I ve heard a couple of different story s about him. I know he was stationed at denbury camp around 1950-51 as he fathered my dad. The names I ve got told is Jack Gray/Grey or Jack Powell or Sandy Powell?? I got told he was a PT instructor but not sure if that s true. I ve tried lots of searching but until I know he s name I m at a dead end. I wish I could of ask my nan more but sadly she s passed. Please if anyone can give me any information even possible regiment I would be so grateful. Many Thanks Gary

Just to let you all that know John and have sent cards and E Mails and visits that John is still holding on his speech is a little better but he is very tired as he is not getting enough dialysis but he is a fighter and is thinking he is getting better its very hard going everyday and trying to encourage him when we all know different thank you so much to Harry Waugh and Ian Hutton coming to see him with their Denbury shirts John loved it so much and is trying to tell everyone about it it meant so much to me as well I hope you all have a great re union and I will keep you all informed.
