Hi Keith
Just caught up on the messages so sorry to hear of yours Rose's health problems . Terry Campbell is also going to the Queens Garden party so there might be two Denbury ties on parade.

Today, I finally managed to reconnect with Dave Smedley, Quadrant Troop and I think from the same era as myself. Daves military career had him following me around the posting circuit or me following him. He finished as a YoS and should be known to those who were at 602 Troop. He sounded happy and cheerful as he was bolting out the door for the pantominen show. He now lives in Malvern and we have agreed to meet up for a brew or something. I will see if I can get him to register on JT's site. Best wishes

Update from Rose Harding on her health problems.
this is and extract from an email I received from Skip
Just an update on my condition. As you know i have cancer which they found when they took the tumour out. I have been passed to Royal Marsden, Chelsea for treatment.
I have had a MRI and a CT SCAN an saw the surgeon last Thursday the 14th.
He has compared both scans and mri and he has booked me in for an operation on 17th July to have my rib and some of the diaphragm taken out. He believes he can get all of the cancer. I shall be in hospital for 10 days depending how quickly i recover.
Sounds encourageing
Mick

In reply to Chalky's post about there being no posts on the new site this last fortnight, I feel the same. In fact it's difficult to even respond to any posts. There's quite a few posts titled "testing", so, others are thinking likewise? JT what's it about?

65 years today, I arrived at Newton Abbot station along with nine other Devonians to be met by Staff Yates, who scared us to death. But, after 2 and a half years ad Denbury, it was all worthwhile.
