Hi Mike and Sue Ann and I would just like to thank you for another fantastic evening at Taunton. It just gets better and better but the more times I attend the more names I appear to forget (that s old age for you) I do believe that I am now be able to distinguish between Prof TEC and Prof Op. Being an Operator I can see that Prof Op is far more handsome than Prof TEC !!!. On a more serious note I would just like to say to any Ex Boys out there who may have visited this site and have thought about it to come along to the Denbury Reunion that is held every year at Newton Abbot Barnsley and Taunton it would be great to see you . Hi Everyone. Viv and I thoroughly enjoyed the Taunton Do . Thank you to Mike and Sue Butchers for organising it we always enjoy their company. It was great to see all our old friends again and meeting old mates for the first time in so many years. Tony and Monica Tai who attended their first Taunton Reunion said how good it was and hopefully will intend next year. Tony and I go back to 1960(Jerboa Troop) and 1968-70 at 3 Div so we had a great catch up. Bill Hill (White Spear) who left Denbury Dec 1961 same as me is over from Canada and we had a good chat too even though we did not remember each other. The Taunton reunion gets better and better. My first re-union but then what s 50 or so years among friends. My wife Janet and I had a wonderful time talking to all the ex. (not old) boys that were there. Faces that I knew and could put a name to. Others that I couldn t. Many more that I didn t know and we all exchanged names in the hope that old brains could suddenly come to life and remember them all. SOME HOPE guys and gals. Cheers all maybe see you in Ottawa. Mini reunion in Coventry today. Pulled up a couple of sandbags with Steve Hoare and Douglas Robert Hellyar. Much reminiscing and anecdotal evidence of our past !
