I am a fire raiser not a puterouter despite trundling that bloody cart around Denbury many times. Started at an early age (4-5 )when I set light to the house we lived in up Geordie land way. Wow exciting or what? Also set fire to a corn field (11) that surrounded a tossing school (coins for the uninitiated) on the banks of the Don twix Rotherham and Conisborough. All the Tossers ended up in the cut along with the dead cats dogs and other unmentionables. The Don was a great place for us budding Me Tarzan You Jane to skinny dip when we were kids. The bargees used to go ape as we swam up to them and boarded before diving back into the muck. Happy Days

That is me back from the Negev managed a few good walks in the South with me almost be not quite finishing my trog on the Israeli National Trail (INT) with great views & loads of desert/mountain beasties. Hope to be back next year to finish the final leg which is in and around the Big Crater if anyone is interested in having a romp. I have received a message telling me I am carrying the Queen`s Baton on the 19th June in connection with Glasgow 2014.. It will be a pleasure Your Majesty. Best panic and lose a couple of pounds. I am on the lookout for a Trike 800-1500 CC must be able to carry at least 2 if anyone knows of one going cheap. Anyone going to the AFSA reunion in Leeds in a couple of weeks? I will be attending and playing granddad at the same time. Meanwhile it is time to get seri-arse about kicking the Scottish independence brigade into touch and tending to my chucks and ducks and my Shot at Dawn memorial. Have fun
