Not at Denbury long compared to some of you but enjoyed my days even jankers after myself and dibble decided to take weekend off because rest of troop on summer camp but got caught out and Mick had to put in report. Hi Eddie I must know you then from your dates alone. I remember Dibble from I think it was 9 Sigs. I was there from 1967-70. 1 Sqn. Used to pal around with a lot of the Spec Ops.

Just read about Harry Meekin so sad. Troop sargeant at denbury. Met him in 1971 at 30 Sigs Blandford Camp. I was on det commanders course and on first morning regimental parade RSM Meeking marched on looked across the square and shouted 2nd man front row det comds course I know you dont I My reply Yes sir even though I did not recognise him played safe. I am new to this site and was very sad to read how many of my old comrades had passed away. Nearly joined them but for a fantastic surgeon who sorted my 8.5cm abdominal aorta out. Hope to hear from some more of you. Regards Eddie
