Probably a good choice as I think the Hybrid is the only forward for the next 15/20 years. We are a long way from having enough charging points for a full roll out and the projection is 2030/5 if the money can be found.

Chalky, I am interested in attending Lost Wages as Keith Greenhalgh calls it. By the way, KG ex Jerboa actually lives there. A useful contact perhaps.
And this time I'll make sure I have an ESTA in place.

Any of you lads in Oz know anything of Mick Knoxlittle, he went there in 65/66. I served with him from 58 to 65 . Is he still alive out there?
Cheers

With deep regret I have read on the Royal Signal Face Book site that John Thomasson has suddenly died after a short illness. RIP John. A real character and a great friend.

Having spoken with Phil Kirk who took over from me in organising the yearly Barnsley reunion and in view of the "POLL" organised by Tony Gask, it has been decided that the reunion WILL NOT be held this year. The reunion has been held every year since 2004 but like all things in life the time comes when it's time to call it a day. I would like to thank all those who have attended over the years to make it the success it has been over the years.
Note for Tony. Can you take down the reunion notice on the site.

Hi Dave, Ten tors was introduced Sept '60, 10 man teams, each troop entered a team, plus some other teams from other units. RSM was WO1 Pavey, I can't remember his first name, but he was the younger brother. I met the older brother who had also been RSM at Denbury, at Harrogate, he was Maj (QM) at the time 70-72. All the best. Dave.
