Sad news I heard this evening that Max Scott passed away this morning after a long illness. Nice guy. RIP MAX.

Gentlemen as a ex serviceman may I ask if any of your members of Denbury Boys can help me trace some old classmates of mine who I know joined the Juniors Leaders Regiment Royal Signals at Denbury in approx. August 1958 their numbers would be close to 23666*** etc and names being Tony Schofield Geof Burgon Eric Birchall ( last seen Singapore approx. 1964 Eric also had a brother Charlie in the regiment to) Geoff last seen in 1959 and Tony around 2004 in Stockport when I was over on leave in Stockport all of these lads grew up and were at school with me and I ve been trying to trace them (but have lived mainly overseas since my own demob) Eric and Geoff for decades now and all would be in their 70s now if still this side of the bar. I have lost contact with John Loveday he and I have exchanged Christmas cards etc. but I have had no reply since he was ill with a stroke 2 years ago I did receive a letter from his wife telling me about his illness but nothing since is anybody still in touch with him?many thanks John and Irene Watson. Of the names listed on both other Denbury sites as attending Ottawa reunion in June please advise ASAP persons that are interested in the trip to Kingston ans the thousands Islands also the trip to Niagara. Viv and I had a great time at the Taunton reunion on Saturday. Two more Jerboa boys in the fold after 54 years!! Raised our glasses to departed mates. Great to see you all and thanks go to Mike and Sue Butchers who organise this reunion every year. The pub looks good after its refurbishment and hope that next year the restaurant will be a lot better. regards to all. Mike.
