Hi All,
My Name is Mervyn Foster G4KLE and although I didn't attend Denbury, I must know a few of you as I joined in 1966 at Catterick and it was when Denbury was closing and a number of you arrived and took places on Radio Op/RTg courses at 24 Sig Regt. I am a Radio Amateur with the Royal Signals Amature Radio Society (RSARS) and have been asked to hold and operate the Denbury Amateur Radio Club Callsign G3PYZ on behalf of the RSARS.
I served for 24 years in R Sigs and some of our paths must have crossed although 13 years were spent in and out of Hereford as well as in Hong Kong with QG Sigs.
My Request is, if you have any photos of the Amateur Radio Club at Denbury ( I already have 2) then I would like to display them on the Amateur radio site for G3PYZ on a website for Amature Radio Sites (QRZ.com).
I contacted Tony and he suggested I post this message. Thank you in advance and maybe we have met (I finished in 1989 at Hereford as WO1 (YofS).
Mervyn S Foster / G4KLE

When Dave Silburn's wife asked for any comments about her husband, I thought I would reply, on, reflection, perhaps I should have used the word original rather than real but that is now gone, I wasn't looking to dig up old war stories or slag people off, but to help her in her request, people should remember the lies told at the time, not to slag off the 'owner' of the original site, who surely is allowed to say what is going on the site he runs.. end of..

There is one thing for sure no matter what car you choose you are certain to loose money. The Jag XJ just lost more than others except perhaps the Range Rover. The reasons are many for the XJ but production is now finished and the "NEW" XJ is all electric. Secondly diesel is now dead in the water and across the board we will see prices of diesel cars drop.
My new one is petrol and will probably see me out.

Hi Folks,
I Have a Ticket for the Army/Navy Rugby match at Twickenham on the 13th May. At present on crutches awaiting knee replacement operation at the end of the month so am unable to attend. If anybody would like the ticket the price would be a pint of beer if we ever meet up. It's on my phone and can been transferred.

Not sure what you mean about "The Lies" told. I would love to know from you who was the liar/'s and what the lies were about. It is without doubt that since the "Break Up" the contact between Denbury Boys has diminished. If it was not for this site I certainly believe all that has been established would have been lost forever. I recognise that the site owner has rights but the question is "How they are used" and for what reason. As I said I miss the site "NOT". I would appreciate your comments with reference to lies as it might give me more insight as to the separation which I do remember well.
